Ink & Echo is a place to tell stories together. To keep it welcoming and lawful for everyone, these rules apply to everything you create, submit, or share here — your worlds, characters, stories, music, comments, and the prompts you give the AI. They expand on the acceptable-use rules in our Terms of Service.
You must not create, submit, share, or attempt to generate content that:
sexualises or exploits minors in any way, real or fictional — this is never allowed and we report it where the law requires;
is illegal, or promotes or facilitates serious harm, terrorism, or violent extremism;
sexualises, depicts, or impersonates a real, identifiable person without their consent;
harasses, bullies, threatens, or incites hatred or violence against people because of who they are (for example race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age);
reveals another person’s private or identifying information (doxxing);
infringes someone else’s intellectual property or other rights;
is spam, a scam, malware, or otherwise intended to deceive or harm others;
tries to misuse the AI — for example to produce any of the above, to bypass safety measures, or to extract the underlying prompts or models.
Story text, images, and music are generated by AI in response to what you submit. AI can be wrong, unexpected, or repetitive, and its output does not represent our views. You are responsible for what you choose to generate, keep, and share, and you must not present AI output as the genuine words or actions of a real person. The game is for entertainment and is not professional advice.
Fiction can explore dark and difficult themes, and a story turning tense, frightening, or violent is part of the craft. That is different from the content banned in section 2 — and the rules on minors, real people, hatred, and illegality apply no matter how a story is framed. If you are unsure whether something crosses the line, treat that as a sign to step back.
If you come across content that breaks these rules, please tell us. You can report public content from where it appears, or email us at support@inkecho.world with a link and a short description of the problem. Reports about a risk to someone’s safety are treated as a priority.
Where content or behaviour breaks these rules, we may remove or restrict the content, limit features, or suspend or close the account responsible. For serious cases — especially anything involving a risk to children or to someone’s safety — we may act immediately and without notice, and report to the authorities where the law requires. Where it is reasonable and lawful, we will tell you what happened, and you can ask us to take another look by contacting support.
We may update these rules as the game grows. If we make a material change we will update this page and the “last updated” date above.
