We respect intellectual property, and we expect the people who use Ink & Echo to do the same. This policy explains how to tell us about content you believe infringes your copyright, and how to respond if your content was removed. We respond to valid notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and to equivalent requests under other applicable laws.
If you believe content on Ink & Echo copies your work without permission, send us a written notice that includes:
your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
a description of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed;
a description of the material you are reporting and enough detail for us to find it (for example a link or the location in the app);
a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on its behalf;
your physical or electronic signature.
Send copyright notices to our designated contact at support@inkecho.world. Incomplete notices may delay our response. To help us act quickly, please use the word “DMCA” in your subject line.
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or that you have the right to use it, you can send us a counter-notice. It should identify the content and where it appeared, include your contact details and signature, and include a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification. Where the law provides for it, we may restore the content after a short waiting period unless the original complainant tells us they have filed a court action.
We may limit, suspend, or close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.
Filing a notice or counter-notice that you know to be false can carry legal liability. If you are not sure whether something is infringing, please seek your own legal advice before sending a notice.
We may update this policy. If we make a material change we will update this page and the “last updated” date above.
