Ink & Echo is a collaborative storytelling game where a tireless narrator brings living worlds to life. Write what your hero does — explore, scheme, fight, befriend — and watch the story unfold around you, alone or with up to five friends.
Pick a world from the community or forge your own — its places, its history, and the rules that make it feel real.
Create a character, set their nature, and step in. Meet NPCs with minds and motives of their own.
Type what you do and the narrator responds to everything — on your own, or around the table with friends.
Tabletop-style adventures shouldn't need a free evening, a full table, and a Game Master willing to run it all. We wanted the magic of that shared story — the improvisation, the surprises, the world that reacts to you — without the scheduling.
So we built an endlessly patient narrator and gave it infinite worlds to run. Your world, your rules: start playing in minutes, on your own or with friends, whenever the mood strikes.
Ink & Echo is as much a workshop as a game. Everything you create is yours to keep, share, and build on:
Worlds — settings with their own lore, places, and tone.
Characters — heroes you write and play.
NPCs — characters with their own minds that you can actually talk to.
Stories — shareable adventure templates other players can pick up.
Music — original scores for your scenes, gathered in The Snug.
A few principles guide how we build:
Your creations are yours. You decide what stays private and what you share.
Play your way. Solo or social, a quick scene or a long campaign.
AI is a tool, not a black box. We're upfront about where it shapes your story.
A welcoming lodge. Safety and moderation matter, so everyone can play.
